Wait For Me

London-based director duo Harrier & Zinnerwell talk about their video for the classical composer and multi-instrumentalist Luca D’Alberto:

“Having heard Luca’s music we were bowled over by how emotive it was. From the first bar it’s got such a rich atmosphere and it’s easy to be brought into his world. What was interesting when throwing around ideas was that those places he took us to were so different. Each of us had such a divergent landscape play out in front of us. It’s as if Luca’s music finds its way inside of you, latching on to old memories, feeling out very personal reflections.

“Wait For Me is a haptic invitation to think and feel”

“The video you see is made to play with that: an ambiguous set of hyper-sensual scenes where meaning is interpreted and internalised differently inside each viewer. Much like the music, the video is a gentle invitation for the viewer to find their own story, like a perfume advert—but for the sense of touch. Wait For Me is a haptic invitation to think and feel.”
