“This track is inspired by the idea of what would happen if I composed club music starting from a piano. I envision futuristic clubs where this track plays, drawing bodies into rhythm. For me, this could be a track that gives life to other compositions in the future, starting with other instruments, like a violin or viola. The video by Fabio Scacchioli allows us to experience the rhythmic dimension of the piece, using montage as a sequencer.”
Fabio Scacchioli, who also directed the video for ‘Like We Were’, explains that “the video technique consists of a montage that I would describe as ‘rhythmic’; it establishes a meaningful relationship with the sound. The editing alternates between being synchronous and asynchronous with the music, which gives the work an undulating character. It consists of a continuous coming and going, being pushed backward and forward; it’s a relentless pursuit of heterogeneous images that touch and echo each other.”
